Size guide
S 50cm: cats, kittens, toy breeds up to about 5kg.
M 60cm: small dogs and larger cats, up to about 10kg.
L 70cm: spaniels, cockapoos, beagles and similar, up to about 18kg.

Long-pile faux fur
Soft enough to knead at, dense enough to hold its shape under a sleeping dog. It reads as fur rather than as fabric, which is most of the appeal.
Non-slip base
A gripped underside, so the bed does not skate across laminate when an excited dog launches into it.
Washable at 30
Gentle cycle, air dry, no tumble drier. Shake it out, brush the pile, and it comes back up.
Which size
Measure your pet curled up, nose to tail, and add roughly 10cm. Sprawlers should take the next size up. The measurement is the outside diameter of the bed.

Put it where they already sleep, not where you would like them to, and drop a worn t-shirt of yours in it for the first few days. Familiar smell plus favourite spot wins over most holdouts. If yours still refuses, the 30-day return is genuinely easy.
